Manipur was elevated to the forefront through Sangai Fest: head of the delegation

22 November 2022, Imphal: The Sangai Celebration, according to lead spokesman La Ganesan, is today regarded as a Public Occasion and has elevated Manipur's social type to the fore.

Speaking as the chief guest at the Social Night held tonight at the Bheigyachandra Outside Theater (BOAT) in Imphal, the lead representative said that it was incredibly comforting to see the Travel industry Office making sincere efforts to entice tourists and establish Manipur as a popular tourist destination.

The lead representative added that in addition to promoting "our handloom and craftsmanship items," the Manipur Sangai Celebration provides an opportunity to showcase many aspects of the local customs and culture.

According to La Ganesan, the event might be made more enticing by inviting more foreign business visionaries and social organisations. La Ganesan noted that the travel industry has enabled countries with limited resources to grow and maintain a vibrant economy.

The Sangai Festival brought Manipur to the spotlight in 2022.

According to him, this festival of unity would aid in reorganising the association and strengthening ties between the various groups.

The Sangai Ethnic Park at Moirang Khunou in the Bishnupur district has 35 ethnic bungalows that cater to diverse ethnic get-togethers, according to the Main Pastor.
